A nourishing snack for peaceful mornings and midday energy
These Aloha Almond Protein Bites are one of my favorite make-ahead snacks. They’re naturally sweet, protein-rich, and packed with nourishing ingredients like almond butter, oats, cinnamon, and goji berries. The NIH notes that cinnamon has been used for centuries in traditional medicine and may offer antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Rolled in shredded coconut, they feel like a treat, but they’re deeply supportive of your energy and focus.
I triple the recipe when I make these, and they last for weeks in the fridge. I use Ka’Chava Vanilla Protein Powder instead of the original Aloha blend, though any clean vanilla protein powder would work well. If you’d like to try Ka’Chava, this link gives you $15 off your first order and provides me with a small credit too.
Prep Tip: I mix the ingredients in a food processor to ensure everything blends evenly. After forming the bites, I chill them on a baking sheet in the fridge for an hour, then layer them with parchment paper in these glass food storage containers to prevent sticking.
For grab-and-go ease, I prep small snack boxes using these glass containers, two bites plus a handful of grapes, quartered strawberries, or kiwi. It’s a peaceful way to stay nourished throughout the day.
