Salted Caramel & Vanilla Protein Balls

Plate of salted caramel and vanilla protein balls made with oats, cashew butter, and dried fruit, arranged on a gray cloth with scattered oats. A wholesome, homemade snack ideal for breakfast or on-the-go nourishment.

A sweet, satisfying snack with a hint of indulgence

These Salted Caramel & Vanilla Protein Balls are a delicious twist on the classic energy bite, rich with roasted cashews, creamy cashew butter, and naturally sweetened with date syrup. Made with Ka’Chava Vanilla Protein Powder, they offer a nourishing blend of plant-based protein and superfoods in every bite. The Harvard Nutrition Source recommends choosing plant-based protein sources like nuts and seeds as part of a balanced, heart-healthy diet.

The recipe is simple: blend the ingredients in a food processor until the mixture clumps together, roll into 1-inch balls, and coat with crushed cashews, coconut, or oats. Chill on parchment paper in the fridge for 20 minutes, then store in these glass containers layered with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

For grab-and-go ease, I prep small snack boxes using these glass containers, two bites plus fresh fruit like grapes, kiwi, or strawberries. It’s a peaceful, energizing way to start the day or refuel mid-afternoon.
