Working from home can be deeply rewarding, but also quietly stressful. Over time, I’ve learned that soft ambient music helps me stay grounded, focused, and calm no matter what the day brings. That’s why I’ve built a daily ritual around music, curating playlists and stations that support my mood, creativity, and peace of mind. Harvard Health reports that listening to calming music can lower blood pressure, reduce stress hormones, and promote a greater sense of emotional well-being.
I use Sonos speakers throughout my home, and one of my favorite features is the ability to set alarms with music. Each morning at 9:00 a.m., a different playlist or station begins automatically, no need to remember or press play. It’s a seamless way to start the day with intention.
Here are the playlists and stations from Amazon Music that I return to again and again:
🎸 Spanish Guitar Station
🎶 Tranquil Flute Playlist
🌅 Ibiza Playlist (curated by me)
✈️ Airport Ambient Playlist (curated by me)
🎷 Jazz Guitar Playlist
🎼 Ultimate Instrumental Station
🎧 Relaxing Guitar Playlist
If you’re finding this helpful, we’d love for you to share it with someone who might enjoy it too.
Each one brings a different energy, some are grounding, some are uplifting, and some are simply beautiful. Whether I’m writing, designing, or decompressing, these soundscapes help me stay connected to myself and my work.
If you’re looking to create your own peaceful playlist ritual, I recommend starting with one station and building from there. And if you use Sonos, consider setting a daily music alarm, it’s a small shift that makes a big difference.
