At Peacefully Proven, we believe in the healing power of intentional living, and sometimes, that means curling up with a show that makes you smile, tear up, and believe in goodness again.
This week, we’re honoring service animals and the humans who love them. As a proud volunteer with Paws with a Cause, I’ve seen firsthand how these incredible dogs transform lives. Their loyalty, intuition, and quiet strength are deeply inspiring. Equally inspiring are the volunteers who open their homes and hearts to raise these dogs—knowing from the start that their time together is temporary. To love so fully, and then let go so that another life may be changed, is a profound act of selflessness.
If you’re looking for a good show that celebrate the bond between humans and service dogs, my two favorites are perfect for binge-watching. Both are available on Amazon Prime Video and offer seasons of uplifting, emotionally rich storytelling:
• Hudson & Rex – A crime-solving duo where Rex, a K9 German Shepherd, is more than a partner, he’s the heart of the team. With seven seasons, the show blends action, loyalty, and quiet moments of connection that dog lovers will adore.
• Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye – Based on a true story, this series follows Sue, a deaf FBI agent, and her hearing dog Levi. It’s a beautiful portrayal of trust, teamwork, and quiet resilience across three powerful seasons.
Whether you’re navigating a tough week or just need a gentle reminder of the good in the world, these shows offer more than entertainment—they offer comfort.
