Who Are You?

Let’s start with the basics. No pressure — just tell us about yourself.

Pretend you’re explaining it to a friend who knows nothing about your industry.
Example: “I’m Sarah, and I run Bloom Consulting. I help small business owners create marketing plans that actually work — without the overwhelm.”

What Problem Do You Solve?

Great pitches connect with a real pain point. What struggle does your ideal customer face?

Think about what keeps them up at night or what they complain about most.
Example: “You know how so many new business owners spend hours on social media but never see real results? They feel like they’re shouting into the void.”

What’s Your Solution?

Now connect the problem to what you offer. How do you make their life better?

Paint a picture of life after working with you.
Example: “I help them cut through the noise with a simple marketing plan focused on what actually works for their business. Within 90 days, most of my clients see a 40% increase in inquiries.”

What Makes You Different?

This is your secret sauce. Why should someone choose you over anyone else?

Numbers, testimonials, experience, certifications — anything that builds trust.
Example: “What makes us different is that we don’t believe in hustle culture. Our plans are designed to be sustainable — so you can grow your business and still have a life.”

The Ask

Every good pitch ends with a next step. What do you want someone to do after hearing your pitch?

Your Elevator Pitch

Here are different versions of your pitch. Pick the one that feels most like you, then customize it.

Make it your own. Read it out loud — does it sound like you?

Tips for Delivering Your Pitch

  • Practice saying it out loud until it feels natural, not rehearsed
  • Aim for 30 seconds or less — about 75-80 words
  • Make eye contact, smile, and speak with warmth
  • Adjust your pitch based on who you’re talking to
  • End with a question to keep the conversation going
  • It’s okay to have a few different versions for different situations
  • The best pitch doesn’t sound like a pitch — it sounds like a conversation
